Description: ICIS is seeking a strong sales candidate to sell high value data services into organisations that deal with the Global Energy Industry

This Person Will:
Develop relationships with key clients from the Energy sectors to sell Business Information/data
Plan and execute face-to-face sales trips to existing and prospective clients to promote the company's offerings
Coordinate business development calls, arrange client meetings, and plan events
Be able to identify opportunities for future growth and develop new initiatives through cold calling
Secure subscription sales with both new and existing accounts utilising consultative selling methods
Focus on existing customers to identify cross and up-sell opportunities
Ideally have a strong understanding of the energy marketplace
Provide strategic input on the development of future products
Attend industry related events
Answer to the Sales Manager – Key Accounts
Report regular updates to the local and international management team

Qualifications Needed Are:
Consultative selling experience to determine the needs of the customer and establish value
Ability to work through a technical sale for raw data and subscription services
Proven success developing a sales strategy for the business
Effective communication skills with senior executives and decision makers
Outstanding organisational, time management, and communication skills required
Strong computer and presentation skills
A flexible and creative approach to reach an extensive prospect base
Ability to build and maintain strong, lasting business relationships with clients through excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of On-line software tools (Portals & Dashboards), Direct Data delivery (FTP feeds) and Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) Systems and their application within the industry
Ability to travel 25-35% throughout Europe
A good understanding of the Global Energy Industry would be advantageous
Must be able to collaborate effectively with highly skilled global sales team
European language skills is an advantage
